I need advice on planning a simple, inexpensive wedding. This is both our second marriage.?

How about a trip? How do you go about something like that? we're 41 and 42 years old. We want no frills. Just to be married.I need advice on planning a simple, inexpensive wedding. This is both our second marriage.?
A friend of mine flew her, her fiance, their son, and her sister to Vegas and eloped. Then they threw a reception party at their home.

Another held their wedding and reception both at home. Their friend is a JP.

Many of my friends just eloped. A lot easier than big fancy weddings.

Even though it is a wedding doesn't mean you can't just throw a BYOB reception.I need advice on planning a simple, inexpensive wedding. This is both our second marriage.?
The best advice I have is find a nice cozy area and invite a your family and close friends. Then afterwards have a wonderful cookout. It is rather inexpensive and a lot of fun. This way everyone is still included but it still a laid back, fun event. If you have a nice park or a backyard you could even do it there.
I know that either the Sandals or Couples resorts in the Caribbean offer packages that include your wedding ceremony (paperwork %26amp; all) and a honeymoon. I don't believe these resorts are overly expensive and it might be a nice destination wedding for you, your fiance, and a few family members or friends. I think the offers are on their websites and also a few destination wedding sites and on regular travel sites.
Have a ';surprise'; wedding. Invite your friends and family to your favorite kind of party (cook out, high tea, dance, cocktail, whatever) and as people arrive, tell them ';Make sure you're in the garden at 6 o'clock; there's going to be an important announcement';.

The important announcement will be that clergy has arrived, and you two are taking your vows! Then pop a few corks, toast a few toasts, and shoo them all home.
I say go to the courthouse and get married and then go on a cruise! If that is to much, go to the courthouse and invite your friends and family to a potluck at your house.
Pick a place that is important to both of you and have the wedding there. Maybe the place you first met or first had a date. Most restaurants and places would be honored to have you marry there. Just ask around and see what comes up that way.
VEGAS!!
Pam,

Try Adventure Spa in Playa del Carmen, small weddings are very reasonable and you stay righ there for your honeymoon, all inclusive and beautiful spot. Expedia has deals for the resort.
For my second marriage, we invited our closest friends and had an outdoor wedding in my Grandmother's yard. It was very beautiful and meaninful. Our children were our attendants. Everything was outside so no one had to worry about housecleaning or any of that. It was nice, imtimate and inexpensive.
